Lago Medical Supplies is a growing medical supplies company that was founded by Julia Nambinga in 2018. It is a female-led company that aims to provide affordable and high-quality healthcare wear and equipment to healthcare professionals in Namibia. The CEO, saw a niche in catering for the growing population of the medical students and health care professionals in Namibia.

Accessibility and affordability is of great importance at Lago Medical Supplies (LMS). The company is run and administered by healthcare professionals, this aids in allowing a clear understanding of the needs of healthcare professionals in our country.

Currently, goods provided by Lago Medical Supplies include an assortment of scrubs, lab coats, stethoscopes and oximeters, penlights, digital bp machines, thermometers, crocs, tourniquets, and an array of medical equipment.

The Lago Medical Supplies team encourages entrepreneurial spirit, transparency, and exceptional service provision.

Our Story

Social Responsibilities

Lago Medical Supplies was created out of a need for affordable and comfortable medical apparel for a budding population of medical professionals trained in the land of the brave.

On top of the immense fulfillment we experience by supporting young professionals from their formative years and into education, one of the things nearest and dearest to our hearts is community service.

We pride ourselves in our bi-annual community campaigns that are centered around the empowerment of women and children.

As our population expands, there are members of our communities that remain on the fringes. At Lago Medical Supplies we are steadfast in providing aid to these sometimes overlooked communities.

We are in partnership with a local organization that organises soup kitchens for underprivileged children in informal settlements. As well as donating sanitary products to schools in informal settlements and carrying out informative talks on sexual and reproductive health.

We regularly donate medical apparel to underprivileged students at the health institutions in Namibia to ensure that our future health professionals are not excluded from their peers.
